The idea of Adventures with Ted was inspired in 2017.  Jimmy's comic is meant to invoke a positive outlook on disability.  Humor is infectious, as well as healing.  Humor is important to Jimmy.  Humor breaks down barriers and sensitivities people might have toward disability.

Within the comic world, there is no representation like Ted.  His humor is satirical, and most important, he is self-deprecating, where he laughs at himself. Ted is autobiographical in that he thinks about the same issues that Jimmy does.  Many of Ted's comical situations are taken from Jimmy's own life experiences.  He is used as an outlet referencing Jimmy's quirky sensibilities. Through humor, Ted has a unique vision on different social commentaries in relation to disability issues.
